The ease of travel has made it simple to do business, to study and to vacation anywhere in the world. Food travels across the world from one continent to land in someone’s plate in another on a daily bais.
The Mobile phone revolution
Mobile phones have changed the way we communicate with one another. We can talk to anyone anywhere in the world by the click of a few keys on our phone.
And then there’s mobile roaming
Mobile roaming is a great invention by itself. It allows you to travel most anywhere in the world and use your phone. But what many of us find out soon after our travels is that the exorbitant fees charge for roaming will make us pull our hair out. It is ridiculous to know that you are paying $3.00 per minute in some places where you roam where the person next to you who has a also a mobile phone and is making that same call for $0.10 per minute.
Fighting back
We at RoamHero thought hard about this problem and are fighting back. We have come up with simple tools for you to use that will free you from roaming fees.
Our solution is not perfect but it is simple and it works. Today we are posting our first Beta release of our app. It is Beta because we want to get it out early to the community and hope to get feedback about what works and what could work better.
So, if you are interested in joining our Beta please download the app and try it. We are only letting in the first 1,000 users so that we can manage our growth. As we get your feedback and feel better about our product, we will open it up for more users.
