WHY DO I NEED TO UNLOCK MY PHONE?

To use a Local SIM card or a Global SIM card you need to have an unlocked phone, which is a phone that works with any network’s SIM card in it.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY PHONE IS UNLOCKED?

Easy! Take your SIM card out of your phone, and insert a SIM card from another network.
If your phone still works as normal, your phone is unlocked and ready to use with a local SIM card.
If your phone displays an error message like ‘Invalid SIM’ or ‘SIM Card Not Accepted’ this means that
your phone is locked.

MY PHONE IS LOCKED. WHAT DO I DO?

Don’t worry, unlocking is simple.

First thing you want to do is contact your mobile operator to obtain additional information regarding their unlocking policies and procedures. Most operators will allow you to unlock your phone if you have been a good standing customer.
